Time has passed since the death of Scar and the return of Simba as ruler of the Pride Lands. The Pride Lands has recovered, and the monarchy secured with the births of Kiara and Kion. The former will one day eventually inherit the throne as queen.
The latter is the new leader of the Lion Guard, a group of the Pride Land's finest animals dedicated to protecting the Pride Lands and the Circle of Life. But, as always, new threats to the balance lurk outside the border of the Pride Lands, from the rogue clans of Janja in the Outlands to the exiled supporters of Scar in the Shadowlands.
Till the Pride Lands end, Lion Guard defend.

Doing his best to ignore the heat, Peké was carefully padding through the canyons, maroon eyes scanning over the ground and horizon. It had been a long day of walking, having found the entrance to the canyons as the white cub entered and roamed, intrigued by the new location and change of pace. However, the cub didn't quite have the time to enjoy exploration, as he had yet to find breakfast, or lunch... or dinner... an occurrence that wasn't too unusual yet still tested his patience. Instead, he roamed the new location, being somewhat careful whilst watching for any movement, specifically small movement.
Just need one lizard or even a mouse...
A frown complimented the pale cubs focused expression, head lower than his hackles as he padded forward. Finally, the scurrying movement of a large lizard crossed his vision, Peké wasting no time in immediately taking off after it, running after the small prey as it immediately spotted his advanced and picked up speed. The cub was taken around in circles until chasing the lizard right into a crack in the wall, one that was too small for a lion cub to enter... He hit the wall face-first, grunting in a mixture of pain and frustration. The lizard had gotten away...
Heaving a soft sigh, Peké leaned back on his haunches, licking his paw a few times to moisten it and rub the top of his head. The impact was minimal, having left more frustration in the young cub rather than any real lasting pain. Still no food... "Guess I'll just have to wait til night... Won't be so bad." He spoke to himself, moreso for reassurance than anything else.
Today had been a better hunting day. The mice and lizards had scurried about more than usual, and she had been able to snag a couple for herself and her family without too many issues. Happy in her success, she had started home, the several dead mice dangling from her mouth by their tails, when she spotted something in the distance running about. It seemed to be another animal hunting, and so she kept her distance, when she spotted them running into the wall and injured herself. Even while keeping her mouth closed, she still snickered a little bit at the sight.
It was then that she noticed that the animal was a lion cub, about Kion’s age maybe? What was a lion doing out here? He could have been one of Zira’s, but he was alone and didn’t look like any of the cubs she had seen with them. One of the Pride Landers? No, they wouldn’t have wandered out here, and if they did the Lion Guard would be popping up any minute. That meant he was likely a stray of some sort from some other pride that had passed by….sigh, she knew what she dad to do.
She walked towards the cub and, gently, put the mice she had hunted down on the ground, gently kicking one towards him. ”Hey, take it you got a little lost or something, lion?”
